WARRANTY POLICY

Contact Werk-Brau Company, Inc. @ 800/537-9561, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, eastern standard time, and request a Werk-Brau customer service representative in the Warranty Claims department.

 Warranty Procedures

Prior to notifying Werk-Brau Company, Inc., please compile the following information:

  1. Serial Number of the bucket or attachment.
  2. Description of specific failure and conditions prior to failure.
  3. Name and phone number of reliable contact with regards to claim.
  4. Number of hours on machine and attachment.
  5. Comments from end-user and/or operator.

All returns must have prior authorization from a Werk-Brau customer service representative and must have a Return Authorization number (RA) assigned to the claim. This number must be referenced through all proceeding transactions.

 

Werk-Brau Company warrants buckets and non-hydraulic components against defaults in materials, faulty design and workmanship for a period of twelve months from the date of delivery or 2000 hours, whichever comes first. Hydraulic components and couplers are warranted for 12 months or 1000 hours, whichever comes first. Werk-Brau’s warranty policy does not apply to purchased subassemblies including, teeth assemblies, tines (forks), cylinders, auxiliary edges and etc. Such items are subject to OEM’s Warranty of their respective manufacturer.

If return is deemed necessary, all equipment and/or components must be returned in their entirety. Any modification, disassembly or welding without prior written authorization from Werk-Brau Company, Inc., will void all Warranty. If Warranty repair is authorized and a Werk-Brau Company dealer or an approved outside company completes the repair, the warranty repair will only be honored once by Werk-Brau Company, Inc.

No Warranty recovery will be allowed in the event that a Werk-Brau Company, Inc. bucket or attachment is placed in an application for which it is not intended. Malicious use, use beyond the rated capacity, accident to, misuse, or negligence will void the warranty policy. Normal “wear and tear” is not considered a defect and will not be considered as a warranty claim.

This Warranty policy only applies to Werk-Brau Company, Inc. products manufactured and sold by Werk-Brau Company, Inc. as “new.” Products sold as “used” are not warranted under this policy.

Dealer shop rate charges on approved repairs shall not exceed 70% of hourly rate. All repairs, labor hours, material costs and other warranty costs must be documented on a Werk-Brau Company, Inc. Warranty Claim Form. If problems are encountered that were not originally addressed, Werk-Brau Company, Inc. must be contacted to obtain authorization for additional labor hours. Werk-Brau Company, Inc. will not be responsible for any hours, above the agreed upon amount, performed without prior authorization by the Werk-Brau Company, Inc.

All products claimed to be defective, based on the terms of the Warranty policy, are to be returned freight prepaid for inspection, unless Werk-Brau Company, Inc. waives the return. ALL defective parts must be returned to Werk-Brau Company, Inc. for inspection or consideration of the claim will result in cancellation.

No returns will be accepted at the Werk-Brau Company, Inc. without prior approval. Photographs, a written description of the failure, a description of the conditions leading up to the failure, are mandatory. This information, on an approved, Werk-Brau Company, Inc. Warranty Claim Form, must precede all other warranty considerations. No oral statements or verbal agreements between parties can be relied upon and are not part of this Warranty policy.

Warranty claims will not be honored for any down time by dealer’s customer or loss of machine productivity due to attachment failure or damage. NO MILEAGE ALLOWANCES.

Any Warranty repair approved by Werk-Brau Company, Inc. and performed by the dealer or its customer will be honored by the issuance of a CREDIT to the purchasing dealer to be applied toward future puchases.

This Warranty statement sets forth the entire warranty and is in lieu of and excludes all other Warranties, expressed or implied including, without limitation, any implied warranty arising from course of dealing, course performance, or course trade the implied Warranties of merchantability and fitness for a revenue or profit. Werk-Brau Company, Inc. will not be held responsible for any incidental or consequential damages or expenses of any kind whatsoever.

 

Return Policy

All items must have prior approval of Werk-Brau Company, Inc. and be assigned a Return Authorization Number.

There is a $25 minimum on returns.

Items ordered in error, can be returned with a restocking fee and freight prepaid. Item(s) that have been placed in the ground or show any signs of use, will not be considered for return.

Werk-Brau Company, Inc. has the final “say so” in determining if a product or a product can be returned with accordance to the Return Policy.

Cancellation Policy

Orders canceled are subject to a cancellation charge a % of the retail amount of the order. Items manufactured by the Werk-Brau Company have varied manufacturing times; therefore, this policy is at the discretion of Werk-Brau Company, Inc.

If order is complete and awaiting shipment or pickup by customer, cancellation, at that time, will have a penalty of 100% of the net invoice and will be charged to the purchasing customer.
